In this study, CuZn37 brass sheets were joined by applying three different stirrer pins and tool rotation speeds of 500, 800, 1100 rpm friction stir welding, while travel speed (40 mm?min-1), other parameters kept constant. Effects the used weld investigated in zone mechanical features via tensile test, microhardness measurement optical scanning electron microscopies. The rising temperature was also measured using K-type thermocouple. test results show that a defect-free joint having performance 81% base metal achieved conical pin without flattened at 800 rpm. slightly softened according to heat-affected zones showed lowest hardness values. peak increased with increasing speed, consequently arrived 804 ?C
